Point Six Wireless, a LLC based in Lexington, KY, was founded in March 1996 by John Compton, with the mission of supplying commercial and industrial OEMs with unique, high value wireless solutions that complemented their existing businesses.
Fulfilling this goal required developing a unique suite of products for a variety of applications from basic telemetry to wireless networking. Since 2003, Point Six has shipped over 400,000 products incorporating a broad spectrum of radio technologies spanning 418/433/900MHz proprietary protocols as well as 802.15.4 ZigBee and 802.11 WiFi. All products are manufactured in our facility located in Nicholasville, KY.
